re-shoot (1)

Okay, so before the holidays, Bhavika, Mia, Mary and I came to the conclusion that we HAD TO reshoot. Why?
Well our dialogue shots between Mia and me was pretty abismal. We managed to get the eyeline matches completely wrong, and the framing was not perfect either. Also, in places the lighting was much too dark. So we all went away for the christmas holidays, knowing that there would be more shooting to come in 2009! :)
REFLECTIONS
I have to admit, after being pretty diappointed, I realised that actually re-shooting was a good thing. I learnt a lot from the mistakes we had made, and how vital something as seemingly easy as eye-line matching is. (Get it wrong, and the scene is pretty uncomfortable watching!)
The Re-shoot went well i thought, and we even managed to get some extra footage to improve our opening sequence further.
The new dialogue, is more professionally acted, and the lighting now looks incredible.
Overall, the sequence is going well, and I feel much more confident now that all the footage is looking good!
Now, all we have left is to edit in the amazing way that we do =]
